The IU Research Ready Program is designed for students who are curious about research but may not know where to begin. Whether you have never participated in research before, did not have access to research opportunities in high school, or are unsure how to connect with faculty and research programs at IU, this program provides a welcoming starting point.
Through workshops, mentoring, and hands-on activities, IU Research Ready helps students build the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to explore undergraduate research opportunities across all disciplines. Participants will learn what research looks like in different fields, how to identify opportunities that align with their interests, and how to take the first steps toward becoming involved in research at IU.
No prior research experience is required. The program is intended to help students discover that research is accessible, achievable, and open to anyone with curiosity and a desire to learn.
The workshop series will take place over the second 8-weeks - day and time TBD.
